The next generation air cleaner is here: “And it sold out directly”

A new type of air purifier for home use has now become available. The same technology is used in healthcare to remove pollutants, bacteria, viruses and allergens – both in the air and on surfaces.

It is a world first that this technology can now be used in private homes. The air purifier sold out immediately, says Johan Lundberg, founder of the Luleå company Ozoneair, which is behind the product.

Cleans both the air and the surfaces

There are a number of air purifiers for home use on the market, and they have one thing in common: They clean the air with a so-called HEPA filter. The new Purify air purifier does not rely on filters but uses Oxyplasma® – a unique technology that cleans the air in the space – and its surfaces.

– Purify actively fights pollution before it starts spreading in your surroundings. It not only cleans the air that passes through it, like a conventional air cleaner – but cleans all the air in the space and also its surfaces, says Johan Lundberg, founder of Ozoneair, and continues;

– It removes pollutants that are a thousand times smaller than what filters in a conventional air purifier can capture.

New research and independent lab tests show that Purify and its innovative Oxyplasma® removed 99.24% of viruses in the air and on surfaces after 2 hours of use. Purify can thus provide an extra layer of protection against the spread of infection and at the same time disinfect surfaces.

Already used in healthcare

The same technology that makes Purify so effective is already used in hospitals to eliminate bacteria, viruses and other airborne substances and to disinfect surfaces.

– With Purify, this technology will be available for private individuals for the first time, but also for companies that want to clean the air in the office or in the store as well as for schools, preschools and the like, says Johan Lundberg.

“Smells freshly cleaned and freshly aired at home”

Elisabeth Salonen from Halland bought her Purify directly when it was launched in September.

– Of course I want to keep the air at home as free from viruses and other harmful particles as possible – especially now that the flu season is approaching, says Elisabeth and continues;
– The air at home feels fresher and healthier since we installed Purify. Almost like we have been constantly airing and cleaning the house! It is noticeable that the air purifier also removes everything from mites and mold spores to musty smells.

Purify is easy to install

– Our Purify is on 24 hours a day and is virtually silent. It comes with a foot but we mounted ours on the wall. It has a stylish design that blends nicely into other decor.

Purify feels above all like security, says Elisabeth.

– I can’t control which particles land in our home – everything from coronavirus to chemicals and pollution from traffic. But with Purify, at least I’ve done everything possible to ensure healthy indoor air.
